Listen to Dierks Bentley on iHeartRadio

Dierks Bentley is among those who were on hand for Monday's Boston Marathon.  But the country star wasn't simply a spectator.  He led the cheering section for his wife, Cassidy, who took part in the race.

Bentley shared some of his day via Twitter.  His posts included a message from Cassidy asking him to say she's "thinking of last year and everything people have endured" and that she's "running for love."

She also ran at a respectable pace.  Cassidy finished the 26.2 mile route in 3 hours, 33 minutes, and 38 seconds, averaging just over an eight-minute mile!
