Historic Downtown Hillsboro “Roars” to Life on June 22nd & 23rd! Set your calendars to come to the Roadside America Museum’s 8th Annual Elm Street Rod Run (aka Hillsboro Car Show) on June 23rd for one of the largest classic car shows in central Texas. Admission is free to come check out the great cars. While you are at it, come early on Friday, June 22nd, and spend the weekend in Hillsboro. PaleoTex, LLC will be celebrating their new Dinosaur Lab & Museum with the Bones & BBQ - Texas Through Time Grand Opening.
Ribbon Cutting is at 11am followed by an Open House from 11:30am until 4pm. There will be catered BBQ from 4 to 5pm and live music with the Mike Stanley Band from 5 to 6:30pm. At 7:30pm, the activity shifts back to Roadside America as they have the Friday Night Cruise-In with a concert by Brandy Roberts as he performs in the style of Jerry Lee Lewis.
