Zack and Jim’s Waco 100 Pet of the Week is Kimber! Kimber is a lovely lady, with a striking, shiny black coat, and warm, soulful, brown eyes. She also has a charming demeaner to match her lovely looks. She’s definitely the top dog of dogs.
Kimber is a clever girl, clever enough to learn as much as someone is willing to teach her. She saunters superbly when walking on a leash, and she has the cutest sashay when she’s taking a stroll.
Kimber loves, loves people! This cutie pie is no shrinking violet. She’ll eagerly leap hurdles to make new friends. She’s is definitely the life of the party, though she can chill when the situation calls for calmer moments. She’s is big into snuggling, especially when being up close and personal involves petting her.
She is okay with other dogs, but she prefers the meeker type. She gets along best with pups who are friendly and easy going. Dogs that are too intense and get into her face make her nervous.
She thinks butt scratches are the best, and she will lean into you all day if you’re inclined to rub around her tail region. Her ideal family would include her in their activities, whether it be indoors or outdoors. She wants to be a true family member.

Kimber is a female, 4-year-old, designer “labradane”. (Lab/Great Dane mix-she has the looks and build of a Dane, but without being super big.) She’s been at the shelter since 12/11/18, and she is currently number 1 on the urgent list.
