Like a lot of people, Lady A’s Charles Kelley will never forget where he was when he heard about the September 11thattacks, and for him there’s an added reason.
“It’s my birthday believe it or not. Yeah, 9/11,” he shares, noting he was turning 20 that day.
Charles was in college at the time of the attacks 20 years ago, and he was getting ready to go to class, when his roommate told him classes were canceled.
“And we all got up and watched it. It was just wild,” Charles says. “You know, it’s hard to put it into words, but I can remember it and everybody can and it had such a huge effect on everybody.”
