The owners of Burnin' the Bone BBQ Smokehouse say they were robbed by someone who stole two briskets right off their smoker. Todd and Christina Payne opened the restaurant in August and it quickly became a local favorite. Brisket is the star of their menu, so the owners were devastated when they opened the large smoker Tuesday night and discovered two briskets were missing.
Todd says, "Yeah we should've had cameras up, but we also didn't expect anyone to steal a brisket off our smoker either." He called the police and immediately adjusted the restaurant's menu. So far, the brisket bandits have not been caught. (KPAX-TV Missoula, MT)
