"A Celebration of Life" Dinner and Fundraising Event

Join the Cattleya Foundation of Hope on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for their annual “A Celebration of Life” dinner and fundraising event at Lee Lockwood Library and Museum.

The Celebration started in 2015, after co-founder Dr. Henry recovered from her bought with breast cancer. This annual event now celebrates the lives of many McLennan County cancer survivors on their journey, honoring both them and their families. It’s a relaxing evening away, and an opportunity to enjoy a wonderful catered meal, fellowship and door prizes. This year’s theme is “Planting Seeds of Hope” and the keynote speaker will be Rev. Joe N. Bedford, Pastor of Living Hope Baptist Church in Waco, TX. The Cattleya Foundation of Hope’s Mission Statement says, in part, “We celebrate those who have survived and continue life after cancer; Those who survived become an inspiration for those who have been recently diagnosed; We celebrate to be a gathering of support for families, and become an outreach to the community.”

Admission is $25. For more details and tickets purchases, please call (254) 640-2118.
