Lee Brice delivered a soulful acoustic rendition of an unreleased country anthem on his social media channels, and seemingly teased new music is on the horizon. The South Carolina-born singer-songwriter debuted a snippet of “No Country Boy Ever,” a song that pays tribute to everything a country boy would never say.

“New one I’ve been workin on.. what y’all think?” Brice asked in his Instagram caption, adding hashtags “No Country Boy Ever” and “New Music.” The country hitmaker didn’t specify as of publication on Thursday (July 6), however, when the song might release.

Most recently, Brice released an acoustic version of “Save The Roses,” one of 15 tracks that appeared on his latest full-length album in 2020. Brice’s Hey World also included smash-hit anthems like “One Of Them Girls,” “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” “Soul,” “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Carly Pearce and “Hey World” with Blessing Offor, among other fan-favorite highlights. Brice, who released his debut album more than a decade ago, is known for career-spanning hits like “Rumor,” “Hard To Love,” “I Drive Your Truck,” “Parking Lot Party,” “Boy,” “I Don't Dance,” “Drinking Class” and more.
