Maddie Font is in the last trimester of her pregnancy as she and her husband get ready to welcome their firstborn child, a baby boy, in September. Until then, the Maddie & Tae artist is enjoying her final months of getting “to eat like crap,” she said.
Font shared with her record label that she and her husband, Jonah Font, are “mostly prepped” for when the baby arrives. Despite Nashville’s hot summer weather, Font said that the pregnancy has been going well overall. She hasn’t experienced any unusual cravings, but has “been indulging” on snacks (and her best friend and duo partner, Taylor Kerr, has indulged alongside her).
“We are mostly prepped. Pregnancy has been good. It has been hot, so that’s kind of difficult with a big belly. I haven’t had any weird cravings, but I have been indulging,” says Maddie. “I’m in my third trimester, so I really only get to eat like crap for the next 12 weeks,” Font said, per her record label, with a laugh. “So, I’m just kind of going ham on the regular Oreos, ice cream, sno cones, ahh, all the good things.”
Font said earlier this year that she and her husband “are over the moon and feel so blessed we get to be this little man’s parents.” The couple met in high school, got engaged in 2018 and got married in late 2019. Font has gushed over Kerr’s daughter, Leighton Grace, who was born in January 2022. The Kerrs announced that their then-newborn is ““beautiful, strong and everything we have ever dreamed of.”
