Gavin Adcock released a song titled “Morning Bail” shortly after his arrest earlier this month in Middle Tennessee.

Adcock, 26, was arrested by Tennessee Highway Patrol officers at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21 in Wilson County, which borders Davison County, where Nashville is located. The rising singer-songwriter has since confirmed he was driving 103 miles per hour when he was accused of reckless driving and a violation of open container laws. He was released early the next morning, Thursday, May 22, at 4:34 a.m.

“I bought my dream car.. a 1973 Dodge Challenger,” Adcock wrote in a caption on Instagram when he posts his mugshot earlier this week. “Over the past few months I’ve been putting money into it, getting it running as good as new, and decided I wanted to take it for a joy ride. The car ran great. I got pulled over and arrested for reckless driving going 103 in Wilson County, TN.”

Adcock said he wrote his newest song, “Morning Bail,” “a few months back and planned to put it out on the album, but I figured there’s no better time than now.” He also started selling “Morning Bail” t-shirts on his website with the mugshot printed on the front. Listen to “Morning Bail” here:
