Lainey Wilson Tapped To Perform Halftime Show At Cowboys Thanksgiving Game

Even though country music can't seem to get a sniff of the Super Bowl halftime show, Texas recognizes that country music and football go hand-in-hand. Following in the footsteps of country legends like Reba McEntire and Dolly PartonLainey Wilson has been tapped to play the halftime show at this Thanksgiving's Dallas Cowboys/New York Giants football game. The Thanksgiving Day game has become the most-watched regular season game of the year, drawing 42-million viewers last year. The game also serves as the kickoff for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign, which has raised more than $3-billion since the Red Kettle Kickoff began. This year's game airs on Fox.
