In 2025, Waco, Texas is expected to see several new restaurants opening, including a Wienerschnitzel drive-thru, a new Chick-fil-A, and a Mexi-Cajun seafood restaurant in the old Twin Peaks location. - A drive-thru restaurant is set to open in the fall of (November) 2025 at 305 S. Valley Mills Drive in Waco.
- Chick-fil-A:
- A new location is already open, with a grand opening occurring on April 17, 2025, on Creekview Drive.
- Tia Juanita's Fish Camp:
- This Mexi-Cajun seafood restaurant with an oyster bar is opening at the former Twin Peaks location in the Central Texas marketplace.
- Sports Bar:
- The Butcher's Cellar owners are expanding by opening a new restaurant with Hell's Kitchen chefs, Alejandro Najar and Alyssa Osinga, located directly next to their current spot in Woodway, Texas. This sports bar is planned to open in November 2025.
