With Memorial Day behind us, it’s only right that burgers, burgers, and more burgers start taking over summer menus. And fittingly, National Hamburger Day falls today, May 28, ushering us into the season of cookouts and barbecue festivities.
To celebrate, many of our favorite chains are rolling out killer deals so you can sink your teeth into some juicy burgers without spending too much. From Burger King to Shake Shack, there’s a deal out there with your name on it.
Arby’s is taking a difference approach to National Burger Day. Starting Thursday, May 28 through Sunday, May 31, fans can get a buy-one-get-one deal from sandwich favorites such as the Classic Roast Beef, Beef ’n Cheddar and Crispy Chicken sandwich. The offer can be redeemed through the Arby’s app.
Chili’s: The eatery doesn’t feature a specific, one-day promotional discount for National Hamburger Day. However, with the Chili’s 3 for Me deal, you can enjoy a drink, endless chips and salsa and a main like the Big Mouth Burger for just $10.99.
Hard Rock Cafe will be serving up BOGO Classic Smashed Burgers between 3 and 6 p.m. Plus, Unity by Hard Rock global loyalty members can snag a free Classic Smashed Burger during that same time.
P Terry's - To celebrate the holiday, Austin’s own P. Terry’s is offering buy-one-get-one cheeseburgers and free delivery, valid only May 28.
Arby’s is getting in on the action in its own way. From May 28 through 31, fans can enjoy BOGO deals on some of the chain’s popular sandwiches, including the Classic Roast Beef, Beef ‘n Cheddar, and Crispy Chicken.

Hardee’s - My Rewards members can enjoy Buy One Famous Star, Get One for just one cent at participating restaurants on National Hamburger Day.
Smashburger - Get any single burger for just $5.28 today at participating locations nationwide. The deal is available online with the code 528SINGLE or in-store.
Emmy Squared Pizza - On National Burger Day, customers at Emmy Squared Pizza can enjoy the restaurant’s limited-run Chopped Cheese for just $5.
Whataburger - On May 28, Whataburger Rewards members can get a free Whataburger when they order a medium fry and a medium drink online or scan the app in-store. Every qualifying order also unlocks the chance to win free Whataburger for a year.
Burger King - Today, customers can score a free hamburger with a purchase of $3 or more through the Royal Perks loyalty program. Royal Perks members can also unlock four months of Spotify Premium for free with any $10 purchase. Just make sure to activate the deals in the app's Offers tab before placing your order.
Dairy Queen - Hit up DQ for more than just ice cream—members of the DQ Rewards program can get $1 off any Signature Stackburger all week through May 31.
