California's famous Big Bear bald eagles are about to become parents for the third time this week. If you have not heard the bald eagles are named Jackie and Shadow. Check out the live stream of their nest. I watched all weekend. Here's a couple of highlights:
- It’s amazing to watch nature play out in real time
- It’s funny, the last chick to hatch is really wobbly and even someone got up on the side of the next and the rolled back into the nest
- And then daddy Shadow brought multiple fish and even another bird for eating.
- And it’s funny to watch how mom Jackie feeds, she kinda only feeds the same one or two, but dad Shadow gives pieces to each chick and if the chicks drop them, the parent pick it up and try to feed again.
