Stay-At-Home Mom Sends Husband Bill $2,700 For Weekly Duties

Ever feel like your partner doesn’t appreciate or even see all the stuff you do for the kids or around the house? One stay-at-home mom has come up with a perfect way to make sure that doesn’t happen to her and she lays it all out in a now-viral TikTok. In the clip, which has more than 3-million views, Amber Audrey looks straight at the camera and gives a deadpan rundown of how much she (jokingly) charges her husband for all the stuff she does in a week.

Check out the video below.

She calls it “Everything I charge my husband for my stay-at-home mom services,” and while she’s not actually sending him a bill, maybe she should. Here’s what’s on Amber’s invoice:

  • Dishwashing – $20/load, two to three times a day: $300/week
  • Laundry – $35/load, four times a week: $140/week
  • Bathroom cleaning – $60 each, two times a week: $240/week
  • Floor cleaning (sweeping and mopping): $100/session, two to three times a week: $300/week
  • Homeschooling – $400/child, two kids: $800/week
  • Car shuttle services – $50 per trip to art, gymnastics, baseball, soccer: $150/week
  • Grocery shopping fee – not including groceries or tip: $75/week
  • Cooking (personal chef) – $50 a meal, 10 meals a week: $500/week
  • Breastfeeding fee– $200 a week
  • Daily house upkeep sweeping – $10 a day, five times a week: $50/week

Total: $27-hundred a week or around $140-thousand a year

“If he wants to save money, he can help me do any of these tasks,” Amber says in the video, pointing out that it gives her enough to pay all the bills, and does “ultimately make me the breadwinner in my household.”

The comments section is full of support for this mama, with a lot of people saying she might even be undercharging! And one sums it up by sharing, “This may be satire, but it 100% puts into perspective how much SAHMs actually do.”
