Jimmy Kimmel Becomes Got Extremely Emotional After Texas Shooting

Jimmy Kimmel used Wednesday night's show to share his emotions about this week's Texas school shooting.

"Here we are again, on another day of mourning in this country," Kimmel, said to the camera and without an audience on his late night program. "Once again, we grieve for the little boys and girls whose lives have been ended and whose families have been destroyed."

For six minutes, Kimmel expressed his frustrations and said that politicians have a chance to change gun laws, but refuse to because of an alliance with the NRA.

"This is a time to be loud — and to stay loud — and not stop until we fix this," Kimmel said. "Some people say this is a mental health problem. Others say it's a gun problem. It is both, and it can be both. So let's work on both of those."

"How does this make sense to anyone?" Kimmel asked after noting the numerous mass shootings that have occurred in the U.S. this year. "These are our children."
