American college student was released by North Korea

An American college student was released by North Korea. He is now back home in Ohio.  Otto Warmbier was reported to be in a coma and was immediately taken to a Cincinnati hospital for treatment.  He was a student at University of Virginia and was  to be serving a 15 year "hard labor sentence" for committing "hostile acts against the state." He attempted to take a sign of the late leader Kim Jong Il while he was with a tour group in Pyongyang.   

The students parents were ;later informed by the North Korean government that he came down with a case of botulism sometime after his trial.  To treat the condition they gave him a  sleeping pill that induced a coma. He has been in that coma ever since,He was released finally, after 17 months, The Senior State Department official flew to Pyongyang and demanded that the 22 year old be freed on humanitarian grounds.
