Sunny Sweeney steps in for Wade Bowen.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE5/29/2018 Sunny Sweeney two-steps in to Billy Bob’s for an ailing Wade Bowen Sunny Sweeney has been entertaining fans at Billy Bob’s Texas for more than a decade. Born in Houston, Texas, Sunny started her music career in Austin. She gained a following on the club circuit before releasing her debut album, Heartbreaker's Hall of Fame, which produced three regional singles on the Texas Music Chart. In 2010, the lead-off to her second studio album, "From a Table Away," became her first single to chart in the top 10 on Billboards Hot Country Songs chart. Sweeney's fourth studio album, Trophy, was released in 2017. There are quite a few cuts on “Trophy” that have that fun and spicy side to the singer, such as the quite outspoken title cut, a track that one gets the feeling that Loretta Lynn could have pulled off quite easily. Sunny Sweeney has a traditional sound with sassy lyrics and attitude. She’ll take the stage on Saturday, June 9th – stepping in for Wade Bowen who is under doctors orders for Vocal Rest. Tickets are $10 at or in person at Billy Bob’s Texas box office.
