Zack and Jim’s Waco 100’s Pet of the Week is Walter

Zack and Jim’s Waco 100’s Pet of the Week is Walter

Walter is a handsome boy with a marvelous attitude, and sparkling personality. Despite he’s been dumped in a shelter by previous owners, he still believes in he can find good in anything.

Walter is absolutely precious. He’s loving, calm, and he hasn’t met anyone he didn’t like. He walked fantastic on a leash, though he appears somewhat oblivious to commands. He doesn’t require much redirection, meaning he’s just naturally obedient and can obey without instructions.

Walter is somewhat broad all over which makes you believe he enjoys his mealtimes and snacks. But hey! No judgment. Who doesn’t love a tasty bowl of kibble? The more there is of Walter to love, the better for everyone!

He doesn’t show his outgoingness when inside his kennel. Truthfully, his current state seems to bring this normally affable boy down.

Take Walter outside, and watch his smile brighten. His optimism becomes infectious, and he turns into a happy guy searching for that one person who’ll give him his happily ever after. Maybe that’s you!

Walter is a 4-year-old, male pittie mix. He weighs 97 lbs. (no that’s not a typo) and he’s been neutered so he can go home with you today! Walter is currently 3rdon the urgent list.

The shelter stays full, particularly during the summer months, and a lot of great dogs like Walter are waiting for their forever families to come and take them home. There is also many kittens and cats who need adopters or fosters.

If you have been considering adopting or fostering, now would be a great time to take the plunge. All you need to do is say yes, I will save a life today! Go by and visit Walter and his friends!

Thank you!
