A 10-year-old boy thought he’d never see his Super Bowl souvenir ball again, but social media helped reunite him with the keepsake.Doni Morales was at the Kansas City Chiefs celebration parade with his dad, who tossed the ball toward players. One of them threw it back, but someone else in the crowd caught it.
Kawai Porter was that fan, but when he saw on Twitter that the ball belonged to Doni, he was eager to get it back to the kid. They met and Doni gave Porter some Super Bowl gear and a handful of confetti from the game as a trade for his ball.
Doni is so thankful Porter returned it because he says, “not everyone will have the kind of heart that he has.”
