Dozens of truckers came together in Green Mountain, North Carolina, to help support a good cause. The second annual Carolina Mountain Truckers show was a benefit for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and it was a big success.
There were 51 truckers on hand for the “Shining for St. Jude” Truck Show, as well as a barbecue lunch, live music and many vendors for everything from children’s clothes to truck products. Local businesses also donated items to be raffled off.
This year’s event was bigger and better than the first one and it also brought in four times what they raised that year. With 100% of the donations going directly to St. Jude to support children and families facing childhood cancer, this event raised over $10-thousand!
