Don’t expect finding a PS5 to get any easier. Sony has reportedly “cut production plans” for their next-gen gaming console to around 1-million units due to “component shortages and logistic constraints.” Originally, Sony had planned to have 16 million consoles in circulation by the end of March 2022. Now, that figure has been sliced to a more realistic 15-million. Of course, it’s a safe assumption that what consoles that do end up coming out will still magically fall into the hands of scalpers, as nothing has still been done to legitimately combat that annoying issue. \
