MGM president Pamela Adby has officially confirmed that the quest to find the new James Bond has begun. Without dropping any names, which would surely fire off an insane rumor mill, Adby says things are ‘wide open” at this point. So far, only “very early preliminary conversations” have happened with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson about the direction of the character and who they might be looking for. This confirmation was no doubt an attempt to squash any assumptions after names like Idris Elba,Tom Hardy, and even Dwayne Johnson– who expressed interest himself – have been thrown in the mix as possible successors to Daniel Craig.
