Uber Eats is diving deeper into the robot world. Through a deal with Serve Robots, Uber Eats will expand its army of food delivery robots by 2,000 units. Last May, Uber Eats started testing the robots in West Hollywood, California. Now, that pilot program has been successful enough to justify its growth to “several markets” across the U.S., as robot delivery has grown by 30% “month-to-month.”
